Since the church finances have been front and center of conversations for many months now, we trust you have joined other members of the church in praying for the finances, that God will provide and we will have His mind and wisdom to be good stewards.  

Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 (ESV) ⁴ When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no plea sure in fools. Pay what you vow. ⁵ It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.

Matthew 5:9 (ESV) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

There is a call in the Bible to be a peacemaker. Jesus in His sermon on the mount declared that seeking to be a peacemaker is an indication that you are one of God’s children. It’s not a prerequisite for becoming a child of God but an indication of those who are God’s children. It only makes sense. A person who is not at peace with God does not know peace; therefore, cannot bring real peace to relationships and situations. On the other hand, if a person has been reconciled to God and finds peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a true basis for peace for every aspect of life.
